Looking for fun places to beat the heat this week?! We wanted to share our favorite TOP FIVE picks in Southington - Bristol - Cheshire to have water fun!
Pick 1: Memorial Park Pool and Splash Pad - Woodruff Street, Southington
We love this park BUT you must be a Southington resident to use the Splash Pad and Pool. There is a small playground that was recently built along with picnic tables under the shade. There is not much shade around the pool and splash pad area though.
Pick 2: Rockwell Park Pool and Splash Pad - 238 Jacobs Street, Bristol
Another great splash pad that can be visited by any! You do NOT need to be a Bristol resident to use. There is a pool at this park as well and you can pay for a daily pass! There is not shade around this splash pad but nice benches to sit on along with being fenced in.
Pick 3: Paderewski Park and Splash Pad - 93 Cooke Street, Plainville
This splash pad is alongside a fun playground! Use both and enjoy your day!
Pick 4: Lake Compounce Water Park - 185 Enterprise Drive, Bristol
One of our favorite places to keep cool is not a FREE option but a great family day! Reminder: Lockers are not free at the water park.
Pick 5: Page Park - 651 King Street, Bristol
Another great splash pad option! You are able to use this location without being a Bristol resident. There is a pool at this location but there is a daily fee.
